At the meeting, Mr. Joe Krieren introduced himself as a Vietnamese-American. In response to the appeal of the Vietnamese Embassy in America, he decided to be back Vietnam to learn about investment environment and introduce American investors to Vietnam, including the Central region and Thua Thien Hue province.

According to Mr. Joe Krieren, American investors are interested in projects for infrastructure investment, distribution of liquefied petroleum gas and petroleum, and would like to know suitable projects to invest in Thua Thien Hue. In addition to economic cooperation, American investors would like to carry out tourism projects. With relation to the Hue Festival, Mr. Joe Krieren gave opinions of introducing it to the world, especially America.

Vice Chairman Dung generally introduced strengths of the province, especially Hue Festival. He hoped that Mr. Joe Krieren would be a link between American investors and Thua Thien Hue province. The Vice Chairman also expressed his thanks to Mr. Joe Krieren and noted his opinions related to the Hue Festival. Vice Chairman Dung would like to receive positive supports from American investors to the Hue Festival 2016. Related departments were assigned to keep in touch with Mr. Joe Krieren to make the most feasible cooperation projects.
