Chairman Cao expressed his pleasure to receive KOLON Industries in Thua Thien Hue to seek for investment opportunities. He briefly introduced the provincial potentialities and advantages to the delegation. He also emphasized that Thua Thien Hue had enough conditions for the development of garment and textile industry with 6 industrial zones; especially Phong Dien Industrial Zone is prioritized to develop textiles and textile auxiliaries.

According to Chairman Cao, textile industry is currently thriving in Thua Thien Hue. Textile auxiliaries has been prioritized to develop, especially fiber industry, to build Thua Thien Hue into one of the national textile and garment centers. Therefore, the province will create the most favorable conditions, give the optimal supporting policies and the quickest administrative procedures to the investors. The PPC Chairman hoped that KOLON Industries would invest in Thua Thien Hue after this business trip.

Mr. Han Yug Parh introduced an overview of transnational investment activities of KOLON Industries. KOLON Industries is stepping up production of high quality synthetic aramid fibers and learning about investment opportunities in Vietnam, including Thua Thien Hue. Mr. Han Yug Parh highly appreciated potentialities and advantages of Thua Thien Hue province and affirmed the possibility of cooperation of the two sides. He wished the two sides would be each other’s investment partners. Within the scope of this business trip, KOLON Industries will have meetings with related departments and pay field visits to potential sites.
