At the reception, Mr. Carel Richter extended his pleasure to observe the development of Thua Thien Hue province in the past time. Mr. Carel Richter kindly informed that the visit will contribute to developing the bilateral relation between Neitherlands Government and Thua Thien Hue province. Besides, the delegation would like to learn more about local planning and projects calling for investment. Of all, delegates focused on fields, namely, smart city, airport city, seaport development, smart seaport, coastline protection, water and coastline management, high-tech agriculture, etc.

Delegates learned that Thua Thien Hue province is heading to green - clean and trash-free orientation. Mr. Carel Ritcher emphasized that it is also one of the objectives that Neitherlands investors in particular and foreign investors in general concerned.

Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong acknowledged and expressed his sincere thank to Netherlands Government for supporting Thua Thien Hue province. Vice Chairman briefly informed social-economic achievements that the province obtained in the past years. The representative of Thua Thien Hue province emphasized that the province is now focusing on developing green sustainable city on the basis of Hue ancient capital.

Having discussed with Mr. Carel Richter, Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Phuong warmly welcomed companies and groups from Netherlands to eye investment opportunities in Thua Thien Hue province. Vice Chairman kindly shared that environment is the key criteria for the province to select investors. Vice Chairman hoped that the Netherlands Government will further support the province to deal with current climate change as well as introduce investors to local strong fields such as agriculture, climate change, water management, seaport, technology and smart city.
