In front of Sekong and Thua Thien Hue PPC leaders and members of two provinces' expert groups, the agreement on illegal immigrant and non-registered marriage in Vietnam - Laos shared border communes of Thua Thien Hue province was signed between Thua Thien Hue provincial expert group and Sekong provincial expert group. The agreement holds important position, sets legal foundation for bilateral cooperation in solving basic issues related to illegal immigrant and non-registered marriage in shared border communes, contributes to stabilizing political security, social order and safety as well as building a peaceful, stable, friendly and cooperative border.
It is valid right after the two parties have internal documents completed and official announcement sent through diplomatic channel.
