At the reception, Mr. Jan Erik Stoa expressed his pleasure and extended his sincere thank to Thua Thien Hue leaders for the warm reception on his first visit after being appointed as Country Director of Norwegian People's Aid Vietnam (NPA). Mr. Jan Erik Stoa shared that he was impressed by local natural beauty and scenery. Discussing with provincial leader, Mr. Jan Erik Stoa emphasized that NPA would cooperate with local relevant departments and agencies to effectively deploy "Explosive Remnant of War Risk Reduction" project.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dung congratulated Mr. Jan Erik Stoa on being appointed as the Country Director of Norwegian People's Aid Vietnam (NPA). Besides, Vice Chairman highly appreciated the result of "Explosive Remnant of War Risk Reduction" project as well as NPA support in reducing war aftermath in 2018-2020 period.

Since 2010, NPA has actively taken action to sponsor Thua Thien Hue over VND 64 billion to overcome war aftermath and deploy humanitarian projects, especially "Explosive Remnant of War Risk Reduction" project. As informed, NPA continues to grant VND 14 billion to deploy the project in 2018-2020.
