Speaking at the meeting, representatives of ACV kindly presented the investment plan on enhancing exploitation capacity of Phu Bai International Airport to 2025. Accordingly, the plan includes project on constructing T2 passenger terminal - Phu Bai International Airport and another project on constructing taxiway and apron of Phu Bai International Airport.

With an aim to serve international and domestic passengers, T2 passenger terminal - Phu Bai International Airport is designed with 02 separated departure and arrival halls. Accordingly, its expected capacity is 4 million passengers/year and enhanced capacity is 6 million passengers/year. T2 terminal is capable of serving 06 flights in rush hour (05 domestic and 01 international flights) with up to 2.000 passengers per rush hour.

Regards to taxiway and apron construction in Phu Bai International Airport, parallel taxiway and accompanying equipment will be invested to enhance flight control capacity to 20 times per rush hour. Also, the project will invest in constructing 02 stands for Code E aircraft and 06 others for code C aircraft.

After ACV's presentation, Chairman Cao showed his agreement and support to the investment plan. Chairman Cao kindly asked ACV Company to complete legal procedure to implement the project in exact process and regulation as regulated in law. Regards to clearance work serving investment plan, Chairman Cao kindly asked Department of Transportation, Department of Natural Resource and Environment and leader of Huong Thuy town to review and research to figure out the most suitable clearance method to ensure resident's post-clearance settlement and manufacturing activities.
