The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Vietnam pays a courtesy visit to Thua Thien Hue province

On the occasion of ending his working tenure in Vietnam, Germany Ambassador to Vietnam Christian Berger paid a courtesy visit to Thua Thien Hue province on June 24th. Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dung and the leader representatives of relevant departments attended the reception.

At the reception, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dung extended his sincere thank and highly appreciated Ambassador's contribution to Vietnam - Germany cooperation relation in general and Germany - Thua Thien Hue cooperation relation in particular i.e. the contribution of the Ambassador and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in conserving and restoring Hue heritages, demining activities, community development, environmental protection and climate change adaptation in Thua Thien Hue province; projects on improving education and training, intensive health care in Hue University and Hue University Hospital. On behalf of provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dung hoped that Ambassador H. E. Christian Berger would succeed in his new position and continue to make further contribution to Germany - Vietnam cooperation relation in the coming time.

Ambassador H. E. Christian Berger extended his sincere thank to Thua Thien Hue province for the support during his working tenure in Vietnam. Ambassador H. E. Christian Berger emphasized that projects deployed in Thua Thien Hue have contributed to strengthening Germany - Vietnam strategic partnership. Ambassador also made commitment to discussed with his successor to promote in-progress projects as well as encourage German enterprises to eye and invest in new projects in Vietnam in general and Thua Thien Hue province in particular.

On this visit, Ambassador H.E. Christian Berger would attend the photo exhibition organized by Goethe Institute and Vietnam - Germany Friendship Association in Hue Culture Museum (23-25 Le Loi street, Hue city) on June 25th. On this occasion, the Ambassador would also visit and present certificates to trainees who completed the technical training course on conserving and restoring the Gate and Front Screen of Phung Tien Palace (Hue Imperial City) at Hue Monuments Conservation Center.
