Vice Chairman Phuong expressed his joy to receive Mr. Han Kook-young and the delegation in Thua Thien Hue to work with the provincial authorities and Thua Thien Hue Water Supply Joint Stock Company (HueWACO). The host leader was grateful to the Office of Waterworks Seoul Metropolitan Government for sending leaders and experts to share experience in HueWACO and supporting leaders and officials of HueWACO to visit and study in South Korea. In addition to technical support, the Office of Waterworks Seoul Metropolitan Government offered HueWACO quality monitoring equipment worth USD56,000. Vice Chairman Phuong hoped that Seoul Metropolitan Government would continue to support Thua Thien Hue province to better water quality in order to improve quality of life and health of the community, contributing to the development of economy, society, and tourism of Thua Thien Hue province.

At the meeting

Vice Mayor Han was very pleased with the cooperation with Thua Thien Hue province. After the meeting with the Thua Thien Hue leaders, the Office of Waterworks Seoul Metropolitan Government will extend the MOU with HueWACO in the period of 2017-2019. The guest leader committed that the Office of Waterworks Seoul Metropolitan Government  would provide HueWACO with IT applications to manage water supply system, help HueWACO training and develop human resources and build capacity of water management in order to supply clean and safe water in accordance with international and national standards.
