On April 10th, 2018, Thua Thien Hue provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with Border Affairs Steering Committee of Thua Thien Hue province visit and present gifts to people of Ka Lo village, Kaleum district, Sekong province and armed forces performing border protection duty in Sekong and Salavan province on the occasion of Laos traditional Bunpimay (New Year) festival.
On delegation's visit to Co-Tai Public Security Station, Ta Vang, Border Guard Company 531 and people of Ka Lo village of the above mentioned provinces, the business delegation extended New Year greeting to people of Laos tribes. Also, delegates highly appreciated the effective cooperation between border guard forces and people living in border areas in fighting against crime, coordinating in border protection patrol, solving disputes arouse in border area in accordance with the agreements signed between the two parties.
Units extended sincere thanks for the concern of Border Protection Steering Committee of Thua Thien Hue province and Border Guard Command of Thua Thien Hue province; asserted to closely cooperate with border guard stations on land border of Thua Thien Hue province to develop a border area of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.
In the past time, the cooperation relation between border protection forces of Sekong, Salavan province, localities and Thua Thien Hue province in general as well as Provincial Border Guards in particular is promoted and developed in further. The two parties regularly maintained diplomatic relation, periodically held meetings to exchange information to effectively solve any disputes arose; promote mutual understanding and unceasingly strengthen the solidarity and friendship.
