According to Ms. Phon-van U-tha-vong, also joined the delegation on this visit were officials from Department of Planning and Investment of Lao PDR’s provinces. On this occasion, Lao PDR delegates wished to exchange, learn from ThuaThien Hue experience in state management in terms of investment, socio-economic development planning and success of ThuaThien Hue province in poverty alleviation, especially building and managing development investment planning supported by ODA fund and foreign aids in rural areas to enhance investment effectiveness of projects on development investment in Lao PDR localities.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman Phuong kindly informed the situation and result of cooperation relation between ThuaThien Hue province and the two border provinces, Sekong and Salavan; exchanged key issues on planning and investment as well as managing development investment projects in ThuaThien Hue province. To further study state management and the management of projects on rural development and investment, relevant agencies of ThuaThien Hue province will have further exchange and provide detail information regarding to the delegation’s concern. It was expected that this visit will help further strengthen the traditional friendly and cooperative relation among Parties, State and People of the two countries in the coming time.
