At the meeting, Dr. Dang Phuoc Trung emphasized that Hue city is still a romantic ancient capital. The representative of Canada Vietnam Society was impressed by local leaders' environmental protection activities, particularly the slogan of Chairman Phan Ngoc Tho i.e. "Nhat mot cong rac, ban da lam Hue sach hon" (literally translated as every simple action makes Hue cleaner).

Chairman of Canada Vietnam Society shared cooperation and support opportunity with Thua Thien Hue province in the coming time. Canada Vietnam Society focused on supporting Vietnamese students in Canada; assisting remoted areas to improve English competency; promoting local tourism and ecosystem.

Vice Chairman kindly shared that Hue city is one of the localities that still conserve national traditional culture and entity. In an attempt to promote local cultural values, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province Phan Thien Dinh kindly shared that Thua Thien Hue province would continue to carry out environmental protection movements, create green-clean-bright living environment and enhance locals' awareness of environmental protection.

Regards to cooperation ideas, Vice Chairman Phan Thien Dinh highly appreciated cooperation ideas of Dr. Dang Phuoc Trung. The representative of Thua Thien Hue province affirmed that Thua Thien Hue province would help Canada Vietnam Society do survey and effectively deploy piloted model.
