At the meeting, Mr. Park Noh Wan, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam extended his sincere thank to leaders of Thua Thien Hue province for the warm welcome. Discussing Thua Thien Hue – South Korea economic development cooperation, H.E. Mr. Park Noh Wan kindly informed that KOICA is supporting many projects, especially the project on developing cultural city. Korean Ambassador hoped that Thua Thien Hue will soon have detail suggestions sent to KOICA and relevant agencies. In his position, the Ambassador would help accelerate theses projects.

H.E. Ambassador Park Noh Wan looked forwards to seeing provincial leaders at a program to be held in Thanh Hoa province coming June. This event is expected to be a chance for Thua Thien Hue to connect with South Korean enterprises and localities.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong introduces the potentials and strengths of Chan May sea port.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Phuong expressed his pleasure to observe the concern of the Ambassador Park Noh Wan. Vice Chairman emphasized that South Korea had contributed to creating new highlights in local urban development as well as other programs so far. Recent Thua Thien Hue - South Korea economic development cooperation conference also brought the province more development opportunities. Vice Chairman expected that the Ambassador would help the province to attract investors to the province in the coming time.

After this meeting, delegates visited the factory of Sujin AT&C Vina Company Limited, the infrastructure of industrial park and non-tariff zone of Sai Gon - Hue Investment Joint Stock Company, the infrastructure project of Chan May Industrial Park conducted by LH company and the harbor No. 3 of Hao Hung Hue One Member Limited Liability Company.
