The total funding of the five-year project (2021-2025) is USD 14,8 million including USD 13 million from KOICA and USD 1,8 million from local budget.  KOICA would help the province to enhance public management capacity in developing local tourism along with economic development, sustainable environment and society.

In detail, the project aims to develop tourism in Hue city and build smart tourism information system. Developing Hue Smart Culture and Tourism Hub and expanding pedestrian network are the other two objectives. Accordingly, a smart lightning system and surveillance camera would be installed along Huong riverbanks. Besides, capacity building and urban management would also be conducted. The project would be carried out on Huong riverbanks (from Da Vien bridge to Truong Tien bridge).

To provide necessary technical assistance for fulfilling the objectives and the expected outputs of the Project, KOICA will dispatch qualified Korean experts.

On this occasion, Chairman of the People's Committee Phan Ngoc Tho presents the certificate of merit and "Good people, good deeds" title to Ms. Lee So Young - the Vice Country Director of KOICA Vietnam.
