Vallet scholarships 2020 were awarded to 212 talented students including 66 undergraduates and 146 students across Thua Thien Hue province. On this occasion, Meeting Vietnam Organization also helped 14 INSA students from Hue University of Pedagogy to study in France and sponsored 2 libraries.

Speaking at the event, Chairman Phan Ngoc Tho congratulated students honorably awarded prizes of Meeting Vietnam Organization in 2020. On behalf of provincial leaders, Chairman extended sincere thanks to prof. Odon Vallet, prof. Tran Thanh Van, prof. Le Kim Ngoc and members of the Organization for having accompanied local students. Chairman hoped that students would promote obtained achievement, unceasingly make effort, practice and study as well as make positive contribution to national development and defense.  

Since 2001, Vallet scholarship awards ceremony has been held in Duyet Thi Duong royal theater (Hue Citadel). This year, professors could not attend this awards ceremony as well as celebrate the 20th anniversary of Vallet scholarship in Vietnam due to Covid-19 pandemic. In the past 20 years, Meeting Vietnam has offered over 4.500 scholarships and sponsored many libraries, etc.
