Vietnam - South Korea Business Summit is an important event and a priceless opportunity for the government and enterprises of the 2 countries to share their vision, potentials and cooperation opportunities in the new context. Besides, it contributes to promoting and strengthening the strategic cooperation relation between Vietnam and South Korea.

At the Summit, Thua Thien Hue provincial People's Committee signed the Memorandum of Understanding with LH Corporation (Korea Land and Housing Corporation) on researching development investment opportunities in Chan May - Lang Co economic zone. According to the MOU, the two parties will share necessary data and information at working sessions in preparation for economic zone development plan in Thua Thien Hue province. The two parties will also jointly prepare the plan to develop 02 industrial zones and 01 urban area in Chan May - Lang Co economic zone.

The MOU contributes to promoting the long-term cooperation in investing and developing Industrial zone and urban areas in Chan May - Lang Co economic zone. Chan May - Lang Co is a coastal economic zone specially cared by the Government. Thua Thien Hue province focused on developing coastal economic infrastructure, Chan May urban area and high-tech industrial zone. These are strong fields of South Korean enterprises in general and LH Corporation in particular.
