Vice Chairman Phan Thien Dinh kindly informed that Thua Thien Hue province is making every effort to develop the city of heritage, culture, ecology, scenery and environmental friendliness. Besides, the province aimed at developing smart-city on the basis of local indigenous advantages.

Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairman Phan Thien Dinh shared the initial results of Thua Thien Hue province in developing Intelligent Operations Center. KOICA experts agreed that citizens and enterprises are the chief beneficiaries of smart city.

At the reception, Vice Chairman Phan Thien Dinh and the representatives of Department of Information and Communications, Department of Tourism, Institute for Development Study, etc discussed with KOICA experts from Gachon University, Seoul Metropolitan Government, Dohwa Engineering Company about the strategic plan for smart urban valley program in Central Vietnam. Provincial leaders and experts focused on policies, ways to organize and promote smart-city-related projects, the investment situation and plan to implement smart-city development in Thua Thien Hue province. Besides, the cooperation situation and coming cooperation plan between the province and smart-city related IT companies, the operation of Intelligent Operations Centers, and operation policies, etc are also considered.
