At the event, Mr. Joel Gage kindly informed the main purpose of his business trip to Hue. Accordingly, Director of Upskilled Company (Australia) expected to research information, agricultural investment opportunity in province as well as seek partners in agricultural labour training cooperation. Mr. Joel Gage hoped that Thua Thien Hue province will facilitate Upskilled Company during survey on local terrain, climate and natural condition. In this attempt, Upskilled Company expected to carry out pilot model of growing fruit tree and seed-bearing plants in clean and high tech agricultural method. For the foreseeable future, the Company expects to kick off pilot model in 10 - 20 hectares in Thua Thien Hue province. If this model is successful, Upskilled Company will expand model scope, provide vocational training and grant certificate to locals cooperating with the company. Besides, Mr. Joel Gage made commitment to invest and cooperate in long term to develop export agricultural product trademark and create every favorable condition to enhance locals' life.

Speaking at the reception, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong highly appreciated Upskilled Company's goodwill and investment expectation. According to Vice Chairman Phuong, Thua Thien Hue province has favorable conditions to develop agriculture in general and all kinds of fruit tree in particular. Province will reach an agreement on policy, facilitate in terms of procedures as well as instruct Upskilled Company during survey process to effectively implement the pilot model. Vice Chairman Phuong wished the pilot model would come to a success and obtain achievements. On this basis, the two parties will cooperate in long term, develop high tech agriculture trademark in province as well as contribute to provincial economic development, Vice Chairman Phuong emphasized.
