At the reception, Mr. Le Truong Luu expressed his pleasure to receive the Consul General of the Russian Federation in Danang. He introduced to the Consul General potentialities, advantages, and development targets of Thua Thien Hue, especially in the fields of tourism, health, education – training, and other fields that the province has been calling for investment. Secretary Luu asserted that Thua Thien Hue always created favorable conditions and had open investment policies for Russian businesses to invest in the province.

Secretary Luu hoped that Consul General Brovarets Andrei would be a bridge to introduce Thua Thien Hue to Russian people and businesses to attract more Russian tourists and investors to Vietnam in general and Thua Thien Hue in particular. As a result, the traditional friendship and cooperative relations between Russia and Vietnam will be further enhanced. In addition, the Secretary would like the Consul General to introduce to establish a sister city relationship between a Russian locality and Thua Thien Hue; consider a direct flight project from Russia to Phu Bai International Airport; and send art troupes to the Hue Festival 2016.
